Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon.David Kihenzile visited Precision Air's Hangar

Dar es Salaam – August 6, 2024. The Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon.David Kihenzile has visited the maintenance workshop of Precision Air, led by the Managing Director of Precision Air, Patrick Mwanri. The visit was held with the aim of improving the existing relationship between the government and the private sector to ensure that the best air transport services continue to be provided in this country.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Kihenzile expressed his satisfaction with the good work done by Precision Air in ensuring that their planes are in good condition and safe for use. He emphasized that cooperation between the government and the private sector is very important in improving the infrastructure and air transport services for the development of the nation as a whole.

The Managing Director of Precision Air, Patrick Mwanri, expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Minister for visiting their workshop and being able to see the efforts made by the company. He added that the visit is a sign of the government's good will in helping the private sector and ensuring that air travel services become better.

Both parties agreed that it is important to invest more in technology and training for employees as well as the service delivery structure to further improve the services provided. The Deputy Minister promised that the government will continue to cooperate with the private sector in ensuring that there is a good environment for investment and development in the aviation sector.

The visit concluded with Deputy Minister Kihenzile visiting various parts of the workshop and seeing for himself the modern equipment and technologies used. He called on the Precision Air company to support joint ventures with other aviation companies abroad to imitate technology from developed countries.
