'KAHAMA(KBH) NEXT’- PRECISION AIR

Addressing the invited guests and press during the event,  Precision Air’s Corporate Affairs Manager Mr. Hillary Mremi, said by opening up Kahama route Precision Air is living its slogan ‘You are why we fly’ through opening up routes which are meant to serve the demands of the Mwananchi.
Mr. Mremi said Precision Air will start its operations effective from 5th September 2017, starting with three flights a week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and strategically increasing the frequency to daily depending on the demand.
“There will be no need for passengers from Shinyanga and Kahama to drive all the way to Mwanza to catch their flight to Dar es Salaam. Our flights from Kahama will not only save time but the cost of travel for the ordinary Mwananchi and traders,as well.This will go a long way toward the creation of better connectivity throughout the republic,the growth of our HUB Dar es Salaam and the economy of our country.It is our hope that this flight will be the basis of opening up Kahama to the world ”  He added
On the other hand, Mr. Mremi thanked the government through Kahama’s District Commissioner for their continued support.  
‘On behalf of Precision Air’s Management and Shareholders, I wish to acknowledge the continued support from the Government, through our District Commissioner Hon.Fadhili Nkurlu, who tirelessly worked to see that Kahama district is accessed by air. His efforts to make sure this Airstrip is ready for our operations are highly appreciated. We fully support our President, Hon.Dr. John Pombe Magufuli’s vision to industrialize our country,and we firmly believe our services,albeit small will help our country to attain this vision.” Mr.Mremi was quoted.
Kahama located in the northwest of Tanzania is known for Gold mining and it is believed to have  a very vibrant economy, but lacked scheduled air services for years. Precision Air flights are expected to speed up economic developments in the district and Shinyanga region at large.
